During the Assessment Day the selectedcandidates gave their best and showed what it meant to "have world” – thisedition’s challenge that sought Gyroscopers, open-minded talents with a globalperspective. Afterwards, the recruiting stage of the 2016 Contacto Programme cameto a joyful end with the Contacto Day, spent in a very relaxed environment. Theabout 50 gyroscopers introduced themselves in what were quite original pitches,demonstrating shrewdness and ability to improvise while being quizzed, beforean audience that included business leaders and members of the several companiesin the group.
The new trainees were welcomed by the Co-CEOs,Paulo Azevedo and Ângelo Paupério, whose messages highlighted not only theimportance of talent, but especially that of integrity, intelligence and energywhile managing their personal and professional path.
For the first time ever, several generations of the Programme cametogether with the presence of the 2015 trainees (who presented mini-documentariesfeaturing the best practices developedduring their internships), the 2016 Gyroscopers and ex-Contacto participantsfrom previous editions! Different stages of professional careers, all with thesame purpose: to celebrate Contacto’sability to evolve, acknowledging that while remaining faithful to our originalmission, we’ve also been able to renovate the programme over the years andovercome the challenges brought upon by the business and the different generations of young talents.
It was awonderful day celebrating the 30th anniversary of a programme that hasopened new perspectives and broken barriers throughout these years.
